some came with 3.31 and 3.55's.. but alot of people swap them for 3.73 or 4.10's then end up going sc or turbo then need a 3.55.. or they pay for the 3.73 from ford and need to buy em.

Do you know how to tell which ones came with the 3.31s and the 3.55s? I have an 07 GT, I was under the impression that all the GTs came with 3.55s. Why do people ave to run 3.55s with SCs or turbos? Also, I know this is a stupid question but why cant you run UDPs with a SC?

theres a tag on the diff cover that will tell u the ratio, or if u can find your window sticker from when u bought the car. typically turbo cars use a longer gear ratio so they can stay in boost longer. by running UDP's on a supercharged car your slowing down the blower speed which runs lower boost, typicaly ppl run a Overdrive pulley to gain boost. im currently running a 10% OD pulley which picked up 3PSI of boost.
