ok I installed my Stingers afew weeks ago, maybe a month ago.
How far up does the the inlet on the axle back have to go on the exhaust pipe that connects to it?
On my driver side axle back, i noticed i couldnt get that small circle tab on the stock pipe to go very deep into the channel of the inlet on the Stinger.
I got that tab about 1/4 of the way down into the channel, which took a lot of effort but i got it done and tightened the clamp and no leaks HOWEVER, every once in a while if i go over a very bumpy road at over 60 mph i could hear what sounds to be the Exhaust pipe rattling against the rear suspension or the undercarriage.
Could I'm guessing that I've either didnt place the exhaust clamp in the correct spot on the inlet to the axle back or the exhaust pipe leading into the axle back wasn't installed deep enough into the inlet and slipped out.
Could someone with the Borla or Ford Racing Stinger provide me a picture of there axle back inlet so i could see how far they have the exhaust pipe pushed into it and how high or low they have the exhaust clamp installed?
