Help choiosing a new stereo.

I'm looking to upgrade my stock stereo in my 06 gt with the 500 shaker. I don't need anything that playes dvd's. Needs to have Ipod hookup and maybe bluetooth and remote for sure!

Just getting idea on what everyone has.

Touchscreen is the way to go, usually has the iPod hookup already.

you could always do a single din radio.

Just go with some good speakers and a deck man you wont be let down. I have a shaker 500, but I want to upgrade.

So did you ever pick a headunit? I just installed my AVH-P2400BT and I love it. High recommend it.

The AVIC units are awesome. I picked up the AVH-910BT and have been really happy. Still need to do the speaker upgrades but that has taken the backseat to some other mods.

I am just not a fan of the knob showing. My AVIC had all the buttons on the bottom and they were small.

What wiring harness is required to install a H/U on the stock shaker 500 speakers?

i have a jvc single din on mine and i love it, touchscreen, bluetooth and has usb input, works great and is a a top rated head unit, if you want any more info just let me know

What wiring harness did you end up using Gabe? Im about to pull the trigger on a pioneer unit and was wondering about the harness.
