Hey John, We should race there soon, I think NVMC has a Track Rental coming up this month, My Grand Daughter wants to see my car go "Vroom vroom" LOL

I think we do: I need to race someone faster than me so I can get focused on shifting and hooking up right. Given your ETs you're likely to hear a lot of cussing behind you for a while though. I'm still in awe of your times:


On April 19 I'm attending the Ram Normally Aspirated Shootout at Cecil County dragway. JDM is sponsoring a 2005+ Mustang bracket race within that event: I know you don't get as many runs as a track rental but I wanted to meet some of these NA guys that are two steps ahead of me with built engines and/or ported heads. But I'll definately be at Mason Dixon for the May NVMC track rental, and likely the remainder as well (except July, which is Pinks All Out--I'll never make the final 16 but it will be fun to talk trash on TV). Hopefully I'll have my 15" skinnies next week too--I need to see what kind of difference those make.

We'll catch up soon either way.

Here's the link on this forum: not much feedback from JDM after he posted it but I called for more info and was told it's bracket (steep entry price though). Like I said, on the 12th I'm going to SuperStallions track rental at Cecil to see if I can be pretty consistent against a dial-in time. If I can stay close to my dial-in, I'll go to Cecil again on the 19th. But if I'm all over the map, then I'm going to Mason Dixon instead that day because they are having a track rental over there through the Northern Virginia Mustang Club (very gracious about letting non-members attend). Either way I'm getting two back to back weekends to work on fine tuning this car. Hope you can participate/attend either!
