hoods

on site the trufiber 3 inch cowl says it works with hinges and latch. it also seems to say hood pins are needed, why?

Trufiber says that all of their hoods require hood pins for safety purposes. I'm sure it mostly stated for liability concerns.

ever see a fiberglass hood seperate into two peices at 100+ mph. at the least it'll bust the windshield.... I put a set of aerocatch latches on mine, cheap insurance.
