I had BBKs on my Fox and last Saleen. Both set eventually lost the luster and started to rust on the bottom.

I have the Kooks now, and for the money you can't beat em. You get what you pay for. If you always go for the cheaper parts, you have to replace them sooner or more often. I know not everyone has the same budget. but the question is, which is best, Kooks hands down. which is cheapest or decent value all you have to do is pick almost any of them. They are all about the same it really comes down to personal preference or loyality, either to someone and their opinion or a shop and thier brand of choich to sell, either from a profit stand point or avalibilty.

My choice is Kooks. and I won't need another set as long as I own this car.

One of many nails for this state :dead:

Yeah, your f****d unless you find a $100.00 smog special. I left Cali for just that reason, though now Oregon is getting just as bad. When I left the law stated that in order to pass the visual inspection the Cat's must be in the original factory position and all modifications must have a CARB number. To my knowledge, none of the LT's sold today for our cars have a CARB number, the JBA ones are BS (they are missing the last 1/2 of the number LOL). You would think that the Governator would cut ya some slack with his fleet of 1st Gen Hummer's, but evidently buying a SUV that gets 5 miles to the gallon is fine. Add a pair of LT's to a Mustang and your the fucking Anti-Christ, go figure.

To whomever asked about the JBA's, I have been running them for 2+ years with no issues at all. My installer did have to jack up the engine a bit to get them in, but they required no fabrication and I have no rubbing issues even running Eibach Sportlines.

I have MAC lts with an o/r prochamber and have no complaints. They are about half the cost of A/R and Kooks and their power is right there with both of those brands. The install was not bad. Only problem for you is they are in such high demand, you would be lucky to find a set from what I here.
