In the streets of Detroit, miles deep in mostly eastside.
Almost total collapse of society there, decades of no jobs, too much crime/drugs. Almost got eaten by some dogs due to radio failure.
(made in china, no US makers anymore for these "consumer grade" devices)

part2, industrial ruin on a grand scale...packard plant and more.

Extremely sad to watch these actually. In a weird way the buildings all remind me of Chernobyl in the Ukraine except for the fact there are people walking around in Detroit

Well, I applaud the concept and effort. The cam work is, ehh, the editing even more ehh. I think leaving the Mustang out of it and just making a "documentary" about the the "ruin" wouldve been more effective.

Thats a pretty grim area. My mouth waters, however, at all the myriad "UrBex" sites. Looks like TLCs "Life After Humans" show. Youve got balls. Im surprised a fresh, young, babyface white boy in a new ride didnt get jacked. How do you afford a 5.0?

Lastly, whats the "Its Time" song in the first vid?

Lol... I was thinkin' that... I'd have gotten the fuck outta there!

It is a bit depressing seeing it all in ruin like that but that's just the cost of progress I think.. The Detroit council should do something about it though...make those old factories into low-cost housing or something, at least then they would be made useful...

That's my 22 yo son driving some...I am a machinist. First new car in 30 years! We got followed aggressively twice, and simply sped away. Made a concerted effort to not point camera at anyone.
.
The song is "slayed", by some band/guy called "overseer"

Very simple,

The city of Detroit has slim to no funds. Not to mention, like all things, the people of Detroit will shit where they eat and destroy whatever new development is constructed. The city council, governor, etc. find the most worthless places to spend the cities money and then dump it all in. When rich business owners buy property, the council and media portray them as cut-throat assholes who have bad intent, which, is all bullshit.

The city of Detroit is, and will always be a shame to see. It will never come around and it saddens me every day. I still personally love to go downtown on the weekends, but I leave my womens behind.

I guess you Naperville boys dont have any problem going to hood considering all you have to do is go to the fox valley mall or the East Side of Aurora. Reminds me of crusing down Grand Boulevard and East New York Street in Aurora. Ahh the old stomping grounds.

They gave Saddam the key to city of Detroit in 1980, he didn't give it back I guess. Detroit is a Sad place. But hey I'm sure Obama will move in foreigners and give them our money to rebuild it.

Small world, eh?! Yes, it's a little boring around here, so we went to Detroit for 4 days...Factory tour, Proving grounds event, DreamCruise, and then the ghetto tour.
Aurora is still the same, BTW

This reminds me of East St. Louis

Yea, that place is horrible, too. Housing/people in poor shape like detroit, but it doesn't have the unbelievable amount of old industrial stuff. One of the spots we video'd was at the birthplace of the Model T, built in like 1903. You can go inside there now, legally. It's packed with Ford's history. Too bad the local punks keep trashing the exterior.
