Just wanted to pass along some information on the upcoming release of the METCO UCA for the 2011 Mustang GT.
We recieved a prototype unit for fitment and testing yesterday and it is a quality unit for sure. The pictures below do not show the final powdercoated unit that you would get from METCO because we were issued one for testing for an upcoming magazine shootout on Monday.
The only thing different between the earlier model years and this unit is the size of the bolt that is used on the unit from the inside of the vehicle. It is not wider nor does it have a different bolt pattern from the stock unit.
I just wanted to pass along correct factual information to you the member so you are better educated as to what you are purchasing for your vehicle. Thanks to everyone for their PM's regarding this issue and I am glad to provide you with the correct information. I would suggest that anyone interested in any performance part for their vehicle deal with a company that not only installs the parts they sell but has earned the trust of the companies that produce the parts to deliver factual information about said part.
Enjoy the pictures, they speak for themselves. Uploading pictures of how well the stock arm fits into the METCO bracket also. I will update thread soon with factual information.
