I'm not so optimistic there either. They will say, "yea you can buy a combustion engine, but your carbon credits doesn't allow to buy fuel and meat at the same time, sorry...." These people are evil to the core and with digital ID + digital money there is no escape. Sorry for my bad vibes.....:(
At least I'm not alone here with these thoughts......

No. I am optimistic. Enough people are starting to wake up and realize the idiocrazy.
I hope you are right, but I'm still waiting for the people waking up to the horrible vaccine crime, you can show them whatever you like, they ignore it. I deeply hope that the EU implodes before 35 and as soon as possible. A free trade zone is fine, but not a new Sowjet Union. FYI, such a discussion in a German auto forum would be deleted.

I am much more optimistic now than I was in 2023, when EU decided this complete BS about a ”combustion engine ban” from 2035.
It was a lie. Instead of 100% electric it is 90% all electric now and company fleets have to be 100% electric, so it has become worse. And, the 10% combustion, it is e-fuel and hydrogen steel only. A new name for insanity is Europe.

Keep in mind stopping the combustion engine ban is just the first step. The first step after many steps in the wrong direction. I am 100% convinced we will see more steps and also combustion engines running on perfectly normal gasoline also after 2035. Just wait until people start to realize how butt fucked we are if we make ourselves dependent on chinese technology...
