I OWE A LOT OF THANKS TO A LOT OF PEOPLE FOR HELPING ME ALONG SO FAR:

My AMAZING girlfriend Shayna for driving me around while my car has been down.
The BL family(Zohair, Antonio, Russell, Chad)
SD for putting up with my youthful bullshit and picking up his phone on Saturday for me.
Mike for the late night mustang tech support, and hooking me up cheap with parts. Sorry Mike!
Sam for some how managing to get a part Saturday overnight to me when everyone else said it was impossible.
All the JPC guys(Justin and Tommy) for helping me out and actually picking up the phone each time I called, sorry guys.
Mike at Powerhouse for answering all of my questions, and actually caring enough to sit on the phone and take the time to fully explain the solution.

I'm sure there's a lot i'm forgetting, but thanks everyone for helping me get this far.

Alright so I don't really post on this forum all to much, but I decided I might as well start a thread for documentation and such of my swap. Anyway, my name's Kuro, i'm 19, born and raised in Austin, Texas. I currently go to Texas State, and am tired of driving a V6 mustang. I got my 2007 V6 mustang on August 21st 2007 from Red McCombs Ford in San Antonio after 4 summers of mowing lawns nonstop and have been in love with it ever since.

But now I have decided that the 4.0 and T5 have to go and im moving on to bigger and better things. I've decided to go with an N/A 5.4 for now, and go with a boosted set up after this next year at college.

So here goes nothing:

I'm going to try and make this a "how-to" style thread, so that someone else interested can read it and get a clear understanding of how everything works. Below I will make a list of EVERY part that I purchase or acquire along with a price payed to just give everyone an idea about the cost of a swap like this.

Parts List:
2007 5.4 3V Longblock$700
2009 5.4 3V Longblock(Got REALLY lucky skimming craigslist) $400
2007 Mustang GT PCM/ECU: $100
2007 Mustang GT Wiring Harness(Uncut and complete): $200

2007 Mustang Starter(W/ wiring), Alternator, A/C compressor, H20 pump:$50
2007 Mustang GT stock headers and catted h-pipe: Hook up from friend(Stangchild)
2007 Mustang GT A/C Lines(complete): $100
Ford Racing M-8005-S197 Radiator: $300
Unlocked Xcal2: $100
Ford Racing A/C Delete: Free(From friend: not on forum)
Livernois cam limiters: $30
Complete stock GT fuel system: $50
Stock GT manifold and throttlebody(w/ electronics): Free
JPC Intake Maifold(unassembled) Call Justin.
Mustang Oil pan: $40 (Thanks Mike!)
AN Fittings: I'll put up a price once i'm done with the swap.
2008 GT Driveshaft: Free

Just want to give a big thanks to everyone who's been helping me out so far, when the swap is done and running i'll have about a page of people who have been instrumental along the way. Anyway, here are some iphone pics.

Here's the motor after breaking her down a little bit:

I'm digging the intake parts. Never thought about getting an unassembled JPC.

Nice cars in the garage too.

I work at a small performance shop in Austin called Boost Logic. We're fabbing the intake manifold in house to fit the 5.4 Unless your really good with aluminum I wouldn't recommend buying the intake unassembled.

I'm dropping one motor in, and getting the other one built.

Figured it was about time I post my little project. I'll take some detailed pics tomorrow when im at work.
