Headed down to the NMRA race this weekend to run True Street with the company 5 liter to get her in the 10's. Previously best was a 11.002 @ 126.85 with a 1.64 short on Nitto's.

True Street was tough, track was marginal at best and was battling a 25mph head wind. Best pass was only a 11.23 and the sixtys sucked (1.69 - 1.74).

Sunday our luck changed, 20mph tail wind and 60 degree temps. First round of eliminations in B3 I was able to run a 10.885 (10.89 dial) @ 126.56 with a 1.57 short on old 275/60/15 Nitto 555's! I actually hit the 7600 rev limiter 5-10 ft short of the stripe! I was super happy with the way the car worked with what little "go fast" mods are on this thing. Here are some pics and the suspension mods on the car.

Steeda Boss CAI
Boss Intake
Steeda Tune
Steeda Axle back
125 NX kit making 99 to the tires.
Car made 426 to the tires on motor, and 525 on the bottle.

Car has our full rear suspension including our street anti roll bar and our D specs in the front set on loose. No weight has been taken out of the car except our radiator support. Best thing, is we can switch it from drag to road racing trim in under 2 hrs!

All the credit goes to having the propper parts to get the job done, great suspension is the foundation to any build.

great numbers and times! I got my car back together lastnight w/ the stock intake and the nitrous kit, tune loaded etc, went and took it for a drive, and MAN I wish I wouldnt have sold that Boss intake so quickly. I REALLY miss it vs the stocker. If the kid hadn't paid me allready I would keep it and put it back on I think and run it after seeing the numbers posted above. However to run it I need a different Nitrous plate, and a 16" fuel line vs the 12".

Long Stroke, what plate do you have on your Boss intake? The Nitrous Express one I have has the lines going in the plate at a 45 degree angle on the top right and left, but the fittings DONT tilt bacwards or anything and I was worried about the lines being damaged or pinched when I closed the hood.

Thanks RSKtakR!!

Yes it's the Nitrous Express plate kit. I beleive the new plate we have the fittings are angled backwards, the first plate kit they were not, like you describe yours as. Also I ran into the same problem, the fuel line wasn't long enough. Call them up and let them know, I'm sure they will comp you a line. When I ran your plate I used 2 90degree fittings to help with it not hitting the hood. Good luck man!

Were you able to find the 90 degree fittings that would also hold the jets? I thought about just hunting for some, but I figured it would be a PITA since I had to be able to fit the jets in them as well.

Ok so I called NX, they have 2 90 degree fittings and the 4" longer fuel line I will need to run the Boss intake w/ the 1st version of the nitrous plate. I was able to just send the guy that bought my Boss intake a refund, and keep it, he was good w/ that so now I am back on track.. after the new parts get here from NX, the Boss intake goes back on, then to the dyno it goes for the E85 tune.

Long Stroke, when does your window switch for your nitrous shut it off (I noticed you said you were hitting the rev limiter of 7600 across the traps), just curious what rear gears you have and if you were still spraying at that point?

Good to hear!

I'm running 3.73 gears with a 28" tall tire, 275/60/15. You don't want to hit the rev limiter on spray, a window switch is your best option. Have it shut off a couple hundred RPM short of your limiter.

Not bad at all.

Nice looking car too. You should grab some MT's for that bad boy.

Thanks BMR. I would love to put my personaly Mickeys on her but our relationship with Nitto is too strong for us to run anything else on the company car.
