Newer V8 swap.

Hey guys, currently running a 2008 gt auto and just picked up a high mileage 05 gt with the manual trans. I'm. Swapping my 08 gt engine with low kms into the high mileage car and keeping the manual transmission. My question is will I need a 08 manual trans harness and ecu to work with my 08 engine harness? Or will it plug and play into the 05 gt harness? I'll probably swap over the entire 08 harness and dash to keep some features that my 08 premium has. My 08 gt was swapped into an 06 v6 body yrs ago and that body is rusted bad so that was another reason to buy this 05 car. Thanks.

You'd need to move the engine from the 08 to the 05, and transfer all the sensors and harness from the 05 engine to the 08 engine.
