Nothing really out of the ordinary there. Just buffing out the imperfections. Buy a good buffer and products and learn how to use it and you can do wonders. I do this to my car about once a year.

Yup. Nothing really amazing. Nothing a porter cable and some time behind the buffer cant do. Now if its really bad, wet sanding, then buffing, polishing, waxing, and a sealant is a good route to go.

www.autogeek.net will get you started and ive been car crazy myself on detailing ever since i learned how to properly clean a vehicle. 2 bucket method, grit gaurds, proper mitts, clay barring, etc, etc.

It takes many hours to get to were that guy is in the OP link. If you want to learn, nothing a few detailing boards cant teach you. Just like anything else, gotta start somewhere.

Im sure we can gather more people from the rocklin/roseville area to come. I have a craftsman buffer/polisher we can use i know its not the best but it gets the job done.

^^^^^^^This!!

In actuality, Some of the "after" pictures when the car is inside under artificial lights shows some halos and distortion around the reflections of the light. IMO, it could be better. It should look like a mirror when looking at the light reflection.
