I have Walker O2 sensors and want to replace them with Motorcraft, looking at these it says they can be upstream and downstream. Is that ok?
Just use NGK as those are the factory replacements. If you want to buy MCs, those are just repackaged NGKs.I have Walker O2 sensors and want to replace them with Motorcraft, looking at these it says they can be upstream and downstream. Is that ok?
Hi 07 Boss, could you possibly share the part numbers? Or advise a newbie how to find them? I want to be 100% sure I get the right ones. Thanks in advance, BuzzWell originally our cars came with two different sensors for the front and rear. And then somewhere down the line they went with one part number. Now I would think you're OK with the one part number if you haven't had any tuning done to the car. The only time I or others seemed to have issues was with tuned cars. I was throwing the occasional lean code when I used the same sensors front and rear. Then I heard our computers are susceptible to this problem so I looked up the original NGK part numbers for the front and rears and then ordered them. Haven't had any issues since.
