Dan @ Prodyno asked me politely not to bring my car with the junk 80's as they were cheap for more reasons than 1. Sorry if that sounds mean , I'm just projecting what has been pushed on me.

Same thing VMP Tuning told me...FRPP 80lb injectors = no tune.

Quick tangent here, but why are those injectors bad?

I found a used set with 3.5k miles for $200. Could be the difference between e85 and 91 for me.

Well, ask me how I know...??? I am having to completely rebuild my 1 year old built motor because of the FRPP 80lb injectors.

These injectors are great for a race car, not for a street/strip car.
They have poor low pulse-width control, meaning they do not control low volume of fuel also their spray pattern I have been told is no good either. Most of the fuel sprays onto the walls of the heads instead of in the combustion chamber. Basically you will run rich...

I've had a few sets of the SD80's. IMO there is a difference between the FRPP branded ones and the super cheap ones on ebay. I never had any issues with flow matched FRPP SD 80's. This was with gasoline or e85. The two non frpp branded sets I bought just wouldn't work well at low rpms and gasoline. Once the minimum pulse width was increased they were stable with gasoline but my idle was at 12:1. No good. They were fine with e85 due to the larger pulsewidth needed.

Some tuners will tune for them no problem. Some refuse to. To add to the problem the first set of injector data supplied by frpp was off.

I've owned a few sets of injectors. If I was going for big power I'd get a set of flow matched Bosch 1000cc. Very good injectors at a good price. I also think that frpp has a high quality standard and that the cheap SD80s on ebay are rejects that didn't make the frpp grade. I have no way of knowing, it's just a guess.
