My slice of heaven. This is my 2006 practice bike, a CRF250R. I have an almost identical 2007 that I race.

The mods on it are:

Race Tech custom suspension (front and rear)
Port and polished head (done myself at a a friends machine shop)
Kibble White valves
Pro Circuit valve springs
Hot Cams Stage 2 cam
High compresion piston
After market crank with forged I-beam rod
Polished transmission gears
Full Ti-4 Pro Circuit Titanium Exhaust (the 07' has a FMF mega bomb/4.1 Ti exhaust.)
Dual map ignition
Jetted carb (done with my dad)
Renthal O-ring chain
Renthal sprokets (I have at least 8, sponsorships rock!)
Custom made air filter setup (made that myself too)

I also built both of them with my dad, so learning how an engine works is really cool

And this is me just fooling around one day at a local MX track. The track owner said I was around 15-18 feet off the ground. What a rush!

You guys have some nice "toys" in here! Kyle, sounds like you should have a strong running bike! What class do you race? Before I quit I was a fast C rider or decent B. No more racing for me now, only riding....7 broken bones between 2001-2008. Can't afford to be out of work anymore now that I have a wife and kids to support.

2006 Kawasaki KX450F with way too many mods to list....
(I admit, I am a pic whore!)

At my "prime" (lol) in 2008, I was dominating the C class and getting top 5's in the B class. This was a the local non AMA tracks, but in 08' I qualified to go to Loretta's. I won the local race (can't remember the technical name) and placed 3rd overall in the regional. This was in the unlimited C class.

I didn't end up racing at Loretta's though because the 2 families we knew who had motorhomes wern't going, because their son's didn't qualify. And we only have an open 6X14 trailor. But, it was pretty cool knowning that I had qualified to race with some of the best in the nation (well in my class anyways) after racing for just 2 years.

Awesome man! Sounds like you are/were pretty good. Not bad for only 2 years. I started racing a CR125 at age 17 in the D class and made it to the B class on a 450 by age 23(not nearly as quickly as you did, lol). A friend of mine raced a bike for the first time at age 19, by 21 he was winning the A class at local AMA races and qualified for LL's in the 250/Lites A class. Some people are just born with it. Do you still race/ride?

Thanks, you don't sound like a good rider too. I raced a few times this past summer, but not a serious due to a bunch of unrelated shit. I'm paying for my college education, car insurance, and all the micelanious expenses I have, so I worked full time plus overtime at CVS this summer as a CPhT and that left little time for racing. I don't have to pay much for college, around $800-$1000 a semester (just my books), but next year I plan on picking back up with racing as I will be getting paid to attend Clemson plus have plenty of extra $$$ to race and/or drop a 3V in my mustang.

And, I haven't had the chance to go ride at a track since August 1st of this year. I've been going through serious withdraws up here in Clemson.:helpme: Every time I went home I was working. I really want to get a old XR400 or something to have up here, so I can atleast trail ride some weekends.
