I like to run my car at both road courses and at drag strips. I'm wanting to get a set of 15" rims so I can run DR's at the Drag strip. I know that I have to use a sway bar relocation bracket, but when you do that your not bolting your sway bar to as much metal. I was concerned that if I do this install, and then take the car to a road course, will the sway bar mounting point be weakened and possibly break?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for that info.

However, can anyone still answer my question?

no, you still have a considerable amount of metal to bolt to, you just move the mounting point higher with the included bracket and remove the portion which interfered.

so no, it has plenty of strength. in a crash however it may or may not become a breaking point. i dont run one but a buddy with a whipple gt500 does and has had zero problems on both the road course/auto-x/drag strip.
