rear end replacement

So I have had an 05 gt for around 2 years now and just recently heard something in the rear end ended up taking it in a little to late and the whole rear end has came apart. Turns out the mechanic that replcaed my gears didnt do that great of a job... ouch anyways.. does anyone have any good places to find a whole new complete rear end? looking at the one on american muscle for 1,300 if anyone has any other suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
