Is it possible to replace my worn away/faded buttons on my shaker 500? I'm trying to do a mini restore and was wondering if this is feasible or would I be better off just replacing the whole unit. Lemme know. Thanks!

I dont think you can order just the buttons.

You are either going to have to find a doner radio to use the buttons from or just swap it out with another Shaker 500.

I have one in my garage if you need a working one.

I've been looking for a faceplate for a long time, but need the one with the chrome rings around the buttons.
All I ever see if the ones without.

Look on eBay or craigslist for a new radio. I found a place that sells button overlays, but I'm not sure how well they'll work. It might be worth a try if you feel like being a pioneer.

Another thing to consider is an aftermarket radio. Personally, I don't really care for aftermarket radios though. They look too out of place.
