Its actually 500K (2 deposits of 250K seperated by probably a week), and yes. They are just delaying it to make sure all the bugs are gone with regards of losing money and glitching money.

Why wait? if you have the 200k for a 10 car then get that one. Otherwise keep saving until you hit it and spend the extra money on cars and/or weapons.
