Scratches on exhaust

What can I do to remove scratches from my tips of my exhaust?

The tips are a polished stainless steel and scratches are right near the Roush logo so I'd love to get rid of them if I can. Any suggestions would be great, kind of new to this. Thanks!

Depends on how deep the scratches are, and sometimes metal is a pain to work with. Is this going to be all done by hand?

Any change you can take a couple pictures of the problem areas so we can take a look and point you in the right direction?

By hand most likely and yes I'll get some pictures up after work.

The pics aren"t coming out (damn iphone) but they aren't very deep scratches.

you might be able to work them out by hand with some metal polish...i know Adam's Metal Polish 1 & 2 works wonders...i haven't tried any others so i can't speak for any of those

You can feel them? Doubt you're going to get them out..

^ what he said...if you can feel them it will be extremely hard...you can probably knock them down tho

but if you cant feel them, you should be good

When I traded exhausts with someone the Violators I got were really scratched so this is what I did. I have a small Blue Point air polisher, 3", I used the black 3m foam pad and actually Maguires Fine Cut Cleaner and went over them with that, then followed that with Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish on the same pad, they look perfect, like a mirror. The pad of course went in the garbage....this was all done off the car.

I'm going to try this, was going out to stock up on detailing supplies anyways might as well pick up some of those. I noticed the scratches before putting them on the car so its still in the garage. Thanks! I'll try to post some pics of the finished product.
