SR Performance short shifter

So I am wanting to upgrade my stock shifter and I am on a limited budget. I know everybody talks about the Barton and MGW but I dont want to spend that much so.....I am wondering if anybody has used the SR performance shifter and their thoughts.

I bought one for a 05-09 mustang so I can tell you about that one FWIW...

Looks like a copy of Steeda's Tri-ax shifter. I returned it before I put it on because I wanted a shifter that would fit the factory knob (M12X1.25 threads) but they were M12X1.75. AM's website had the wrong thread listed. Ended up buying a MGW. Happy with it.

Looked like a nice shifter. I compared the 11-14 SR to Tri-ax and they look similar as well.

2011+ Mustang GT 5.0L Tech Technical discussion about the 2011+ Ford Mustang GT 5.0L

So one would assume its the Tech Section !

Speed, this forum is nothing like any of the other Stang forums out there... our "Tech" section is for custom fabrication, motor swaps, technical DYI write-ups, etc. Thoughts on a shifter would fall in our "Chit-Chat" section. Please read through the forum rules to get a better feel for how things work here... the knowledge on this forum is like no other on the web, but you will be drawn and quartered for not following the posted rules.

I have the SR shifter and the Steeda sitting in my garage and they are basically the same shifter. Nothing wrong with the SR, but you can tell the Steeda is better quality. I'll sell my SR shifter for $75, send me a PM if interested.
