The fastest "door car" in San Diego is a Mustang

This video is of a 1984(?) Fox-body Mustang at my local 1/8-mile track (Barona Dragstrip). A few weeks ago, it ran 5.0 seconds in the 1/8-mile. That set the record for a "door car" at the track. Only dragsters, altereds and funny cars have run quicker than that. This week, they set a new record and became the first door car into the 4-sec zone at the track. I had a great seat for the video when they did it. Can you believe 4.95 @ 143mph??? Later in the evening, they backed it up with a 4.97 @ 142. Unfreakinreal!!
