Hey all, purchased my first Mustang approx. 1 month ago (2014 GT). I replaced the tires and the TPMS sensors with a local tire store and I have been having issues ever since. For what ever reason the TPMS refuses to learn to the car. We have tried 4 or 5 different brands of TPMS sensors including OEM and still can not get it to learn. I have been to 2 local Ford dealers trying to see if they had better luck and its the same story, though 1 dealer told me that the BCM was working correctly. The tire store was able to pull a list of codes that ive included here. Is there some magic secret that I am unaware of? Could this potentially be because there is a tune on the car? TIA as I am brand new to Mustangs

This is really a longshot and may sound kind of dumb, but I've heard that having a phone charger in the car can interfere with the DTCs. Just a thought. Or did you get it sorted out?
My car is also a '14 GT and as of now the tires do not have any TPMS. The original owner did not have them set up. I'm curious about your issue since I'll be getting new tires and I haven't decided whether I'll do TPMS at all.

I just went through this procedure and it worked for me.
Put key in ignition. Do not turn on.
Step on and release the brake pedal.
Turn key on, off, on, off, on.
Step on brake and release brake pedal.
Turn key off, on, off, on, off, on.
Horn should honk once. This is learn mode.
Hold the TPMS tool against the left front tire sidewall near valve stem and press the button. Horn will honk when set.
Move to the right front tire and do the same thing.
When the horn honks, move to the right rear and do the same thing.
When you hear the horn honk move to the left rear and do the same thing. The horn should honk once and you are done. The TPMS light on the dash should be gone. Turn the key off.

I bought the small TPMS "trainer" for $20 and it worked on my car. I used the procedure outlined above. It seems to me that if the horn honks when you are training a particular wheel sensor, then the sensor and the trainer are working. You may have to deviate from the sequence in the procedure which is normally LF,RF,RR,LR. You apparently also have to drive the car for 15 minutes or so to activate the sensors. I know it's a total PITA, but keep trying to get them to work. I have a 2014 Edge as well as the 2014 Mustang so the sensors are 11 years old, but they still work.

I’ve had the TPMS light when using a usb adapter in the cigarette lighter as delroy stated above. Myself and another mechanic chased the problem for some time until I read about the adapter as a potential problem. Since the sensors send out a radio frequency, and the adapter is unshielded, the signal was interrupted. Good luck
