Traded In My '06 GT For An '11 GT 5.0 California Special!!

So after months on thinking about it, i finally pulled the trigger on the new 5.0! I traded in my 2006 GT and got a Performance White California Special with HID Headlights and a 6 speed manual of course!! One of my favorite part is how the seats have carbon fiber inserts. It has 12 miles on it and is still at the dealer. I'm hoping to pick it up on tuesday. But for now here are some cell phone pics (sorry) of both cars.

I got an AMAZING deal by the way.

After i get it i will take some pics with it and my GT500 and Challenger R/T.

Ha, I was going to respond to this thread that the 06 looked MUCH better.

im one of the few "crazies" that think the 05-09 car looks MUCH better than the 10+. ive seen some 10+ cars that look ok, but the 05-09 look is just spot on imho. id buy the 5.0 crate motor and swap before i traded to get the whole car.

Thanks for the compliments guys! The '06 needed to go. It had around 63k miles, was in a bad accident, and had a mysterious rattle haha. Its begging for some mufflers,intake and a tune!!

the new body style grew on me. I saw a white california special the other day( i had a black 2008 CS) and it just made me go kind of... Yuck.... LOL.

The CS editions look really nice. I almost bought one. This may seem a little petty, but since I absolutely HATE California, I just couldn't bring myself to get a car with that name in it. So I went with a Race Red GT. The suspension upgrades, PCM capabilities, 5.0L engine plus the interior materials upgrades make the 2011 a much better car than the previous years. People who don't like the rear end, like myself, but bought the car anyway tend to end up liking the rear end to a degree. Of course, you can always change up the looks of the rear end too. I can't wait till UPS gets here today. My new intaje and SCT tuner arrives and will be on the car TONIGHT! LOL!

Nice and the only thing I hate about that front end is the damn grille but you should buy the Roush grille IMO that is the best looking on for that car.
