Greetings all! New here
Not sure if this is where I should post this, but seems about right.
I have a new to me 05 GT, 43k km, supercharged.
Read alot of conflicting opinions on fluid for the 3650.
I called up Tremec to inquire what to run as I was on the fence between Pennzoil Syncromesh and Mobil 1 ATF Synth.
Dale from Tremec said the Trans was designed on M1 and that is great to run or the factory recommended dex/merc.
He stated NOT to run the syncromesh as it is too thick for the 3650.
So for myself, M1 it is.
I also inquired about the fill level. He stated to fill it till she runs out the fill hole. The reasoning for the half inch below the plug was/is to mitigate cold fluid gear nibbling. He said it is better to have a little cold gear nibble than not enough fluid when warmed up.
Thought I would pass this info on. Sorry if this is already known.
Cheers!
