MP, wow. Ya know I woulda never thought about those wheels on an S197. At first they reminded me of the 1985 and 1986 Saleens. The "look" you created here is VERY interesting! You took a retro 60's Mustang and threw something like a retro late 70s-80s wheel and tire combo on it. The larger rear diameter drag radial tire, slight rake, and a tough but clean minimalist-styling approach is really unique on your S197. I also think that the wheel finish and black exterior paint work to this theme very well. This was a very favorably surprising look when I saw your picks. I have to stop typing this post every other sentence to scroll back down to look at it again. Thanks for sharing these pics and accomplishing, in my honest opinion, a truly unique style.
I can't say it enough times, how a good combination of wheels, tires, and stance can completely change the entire look and attitude of ANY car. It also helps that you have some nice photographs to post too. I myself would love to see more pics of this beast. Man those wheels really make the car! Can you post up the wheel and tire specs?
Thanks!

I hope you painted the wheels white, silver or gold. The black wheels will lose all the detail on a white car.
