^it's a single muffler that weighs 6# and is straight thru true 3" core ending in a 5" double rolled edge polished flared tip.
If that's what you call a fart can go stick your face at the end and I'll make the car rip a 6500rpm 'fart' for ya:kma:

What purpose does a 5" flared tip serve?

Did you at least use eBay bucks to buy it?
No although I did earn ebay bucks on the purchase:roflmao:
5" tip serves no more of a purpose then a 4" tip does, as they are all bigger then the exhaust piping itself so whats your point exactly?

Yeah, there is certainly a trend for black wheels in general. I was wanting the RTR's but tried these and loved them on the car. I get a bunch of similar comments on them.

Don't like chrome, but it's hard to beat polished aluminum wheels on a black car.

AMEN!!!

I was just wondering why you'd put something that serves no purpose, performance wise, and that is most commonly associated with ricers on a Mustang?

What does it sound like? Got any video? :beerdrink:

What happened to your Cobra?
Sold the cobra last august man got bored of it got allmost exactly what I had in it out of it.
Picked this latest one up for $8900 after going without a mustang for nearly 8 months:mad2:
Pretty impressed with it for a 158k+mile car it gets almost 24mpg hwy and runs 13.4s @ 105+mph with stock headers/cats/tb/ds/shifter&3.55 gears.
I can't wait to install my 4.10s, spec stage2+ clutch&spec alum flywheel, 3.5" ds*still haven't decided on which brand* and steeda ud pulleys, and I picked up a girdle cover to slap on as well.
I'm getting a good two wheel burnout at the track so I'm debating doing a new posi at the same time the pumpkin is open?

I don't argee obviously as switching to a single 3" essentially straight thru exh saved 64#s over the stock exh and a single 3" is good enough for around 400hp. So since my car was going to be n/a due to the mileage I decided on a cheap/lightweight setup over other heavier dual setups.

Sure I got a couple vids of it at the track can't speak for camera quality but if you have a set of decent speakers it sounds pretty good imo anyways.
It's really impressed the hell out of everyone who hears it in person especially mustang guys I know/run into :roflmao:
I get so many people who can't tell if it's a v6 or not just wait until I throw the gt500 bumper I received over the weekend on that will really mess with people :omfg:

^man I've been married for almost 6 years not much left to bust anymore:roflmao:
I did give quite a bit of consideration to this invidia setup*i've wanted to run it ever since I first saw it on a youtube vid on a 2007 gt.
then I just said f it and bought a muffler for $30 and paid an exh shop $150 to make my setup which uses a magnaflow true 3"out dual 2.5"in y-pipe into 3" piping into the straight thru muffler much cheaper&lighter.

^^^I can certainly appreciate the weight saving aspect of it mate, as I'm all about weight reduction, and 64lbs is a BIG ol' chunk to drop, I'm just not sure about the 'ricer' tip. Still, horses for courses and all that :thumb2:

I just got to work, so I'll check out the video's when I get home this evening. Thanks for sharing

Oh yeah, back on topic, I like the look of the wheels!

I understand that. I sold my 05 last summer and went a few months without one. Bought a 2000 GT, drove it for less than a month, got bored and sold it(and made a little $ on it too). I have been Stangless since October. My wife will finish her Master's Degree next year and I hope to pick up a used GT500 or maybe even a 5.0. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal on yours....hopefully I can't find a deal like that when I start looking!

^just my .02c but I'd get a 5.0 man better handling car due to the lighter motor and the 5.0 can be made into a 500+whp n/a beast:boobies:

3.73-11, I like the car and the wheels but the exhaust is horrible, weight savings or not. I think I'd rather remove my doors for weight saving before I'd ever put a single exhaust on a V8 mustang! And the fart can tip just adds insult to injury : /

Actually I think it sounded fine...but it's hard to tell from a youtube video, especially with the car off in the distance and the sound of another car. But again, single exhaust's don't belong on a V8 Mustang....or even a V6 these days.
