v6 auto....dome ligts wont shut off

I switched the whole assembly from my car to my friends car....mine have the blue led lights in them...where is the switch for the doors...or is there a fuse just for them...because i checked them all but theyra all good...i tought it was because we shorted the ebrake wire so the dvd can work while driving bu it wasant it......is it possible that the whole assembly got bad?

Check the little wheel next to your head light switch - by any chance were you cleaning and moved it all the way up?
