+1 on still going after the guy even if he does refund the money. It probably won't be long and he will be trying to pull stuff like this again if you just let him off with refunding. Although, I don't believe you guys will see any refunds, he probably already spent that money on his car.

I got my local pd getting hold of nj pd, and FBI. This is grand larceny and thieft by deception, money laundering just to name a few, these are felonies. I will take this all the way until I get my money back. I have been fairly nice to him through email hoping he will just pay. Now I am going to drive the point home. Dude you still got a chance to make it right. I want 200$ refunded in my paypal by Monday that's tomorrow. If it's not I will go forward with the law process and eventually have you arrested. This isn't a game messing with my hard earned money isn't a game, dude do you realize what you have done and the trouble your about to be in. People every day get locked up or even worse, for stealing. You stole money this can be reversed by returning the money. This isn't murder "once it's done you can't take it back". You can take this back by refunding everyone their money.
