Hmm I run 5 from hard on the front and 2 from hard on the rear drivers side and 1 from hard on the rear passenger side.

I don't have an air bag so I use this offset setting in the rear

Where is that thing welded to?

I have the Che axle brace and I have been wondering if I can install a anti roll bar as well

I will try to post some pics later on, but you definately can't use the axle brace, plus that piece really doesn't help too much.

You will have to remove the brace to use it. Sorry! We tried using both with Chevykiller and we couldn't use the brace.w

Both of them have different purposes, the brace is intended to help to keep the axle tubes straight, vehicles with rear drag-race anti-roll bars consistenly produce quicker 60-foot times by equalizing traction and preventing body roll.

Has anyone broke into the 7s with an S197 with 3-link suspension?

I belive Amanda Long has gone 6s on radials and a three link. She has a Procharged S197. As I recall she has a custom upper from TRZ motorsports. Aka - Puddin

New best 60' of 1.39 last weekend at NMRA and the car is still not 60'ing like it should. With the 29.5 x 10.5" slicks combined with the Powerglide and a 3.55 rear gear, the car is a bit undergeared, even with the power it makes. I'm planning to switch to 4.10s and see what she'll do.

Another thing that has helped this car tremendously is redistributing the weight from the front to the back. While I am still running an iron block, my weight distribution is 53:47 with a full ice tank (7.5 gallons) and full fuel cell (11 gallons) in the trunk. I also have two 16V batteries in the trunk that weigh 42 pounds each. The total weight is 3290 without driver.

I'm running Cobra Jet springs with Tokico D-spec struts and shocks.

Bradco Converter that stalls at about 4200

UPR solid bushing double adjustable UCA and LCAs

CHE anti-squat brackets welded-in

BMR extreme anti-roll bar

Spool with 33 spline axles

Launch at 3100 off 2- step and trans brake

Wow, I have to comment on this:
1) yes 4.10s will be better---that is what I run
2) Interesting your car weighs 3290 with two 16V batteries. Mine weighs 3240 with 1 battery. Our cars weigh virtually the same
3) Can't you leave higher (if the track allows?) I would try leaving @ 4000 if you can.
4) I have stock front struts, going to change to some strange units soon. Did the adjustable front shocks really make a significant difference?
