Is there a tsb out for a leaking differential? It's leaking from the side of mine where the axle goes out. This isn't normal is it?

If its just damp on the axle tube, on the drivers(?) side by the vent, thats nothing to be concerned with. Especially if you drive spirited....

Yea its fairly damp looking on the drivers side of the diff but it's def coming out where the axle tube is. Axle tube itself is pretty damp. I mean it wasn't dripping out or anything but there was probably enough to make a drop where the axle tube meets the diff.

I guess you can say I drive pretty spirited. The car has seen close to 30 full throttle launches on MT ET Streets...and I haven't even got enough miles for the first oil change yet lol. No whines or anything weird yet.

Just curious. For the cold shifting problem. Would anyone remove an aftermarket shifter and bracket, replace with stock, before going in for the tsb on it?

My car has 2k miles on it and that cold shift tsb fluid change didn't do much if any for my car. IMO I'd use the time spent installing the stock shifter back in the car on switching the fluid yourself with a high quality synthetic gear lube. And you won't have to worry about the dealer putting a new scratch on your car.

Already have changed multiple times. I have used rp max gear, syncromax, redline lightweight shockproof . All results were the same as if I didnt change at all except the syncromax but, I was told by many that it was to thin so, I changed it out for the redline.

I figure if I get it to the dealer for the cold shifting problem and if the fix doesnt work then I will keep bitching till its fixed. Its cheaper then me changing fluid all the time to find a fix.

I had the TSB done with the JHR bracket installed, no grief from my dealer. I've since installed the MGW shifter.
