If it's going to rain on Sunday, then I might just cancel the little mustang cruise and cruise on over to the track. I have question about D/A and bench racing. Is it bench racing if for example your e.t is 7.5 at Barona but because of the DA your times would be 7.0 at sea level. Can you really claim a e.t of 7.0?

Damn. Hopefully Barona's DA will be better. In the summer with their DA of 4500' I am lucky to get low 9s high 8s. Which at sea level is mid to low 8s.

Crap... I didn't want to see rain in the forecast. Dammit. The good news, is that weather forecasts are often wrong. The bad news is that it could rain both days.

Guess we need to just keep an eye on it the next couple days and hope it changes.

No doubt and that's why I'm not 100% counting out yet. Both Ken and I are playing it by ear. After thursday at irwindale, we'll look at the forecast again and make a decision but we're not going to go if sunday is going to be rained out.

I'll determine if I'm making the trip down on Saturday. The plan was to pull into SD Saturday late. If by the time I'm getting ready to leave it gets worse then I'll probably out. I'm gonna wait until the last minute before I decide to throw in the towel. 40% chance in CA is like saying there is a 5% chance, IMO

Besides I'm dying to get down to Barona after the new tune and the IAT relo on Friday that I really want to run.

Ramona is the closest place. It's about 6 miles north of the track.

hahaha... yea, Ramona is an actual town, with grocery stores and convenience marts and everything.

Just so you know, they also have a BBQ stand at the track. Burger, dogs, tri tip, nachos, etc. Plus, "Mr. Frosty" is always there with ice cream, too! Ed loves Mr Frosty...
