No doubt and that's why I'm not 100% counting out yet. Both Ken and I are playing it by ear. After thursday at irwindale, we'll look at the forecast again and make a decision but we're not going to go if sunday is going to be rained out.

Looks like the forecast changed! Let's go racing boys!!

I told you it wasn't going to rain, it never rains in S. California. LOL

Now get you ass down here to race your car. I going to try and race mine too (two or three runs) and yes I'm still banned and no I'm not telling the old lady. :roflmao:

Hey Don,

Leo and I have changed our plans and will be at Barona on Saturday only instead of Sunday. Hopefully that doesn't screw anything up.

Thanks
Brian

Oh yeah, except for stuff I need for the car and a chair to sit my fat ass on, do we need to bring anything else ?? For ice I was thinking of going out to that gas-stop/station right at the casino and picking up one of those styrofoam jobs with a bunch of ice (I have the stock IC resevoir).... would 7lbs do it ?

I can't go. I am way behind on laundry and I need to mow the lawn. Also my cat died. My dog mistook it for a chew toy.

I AM COMING DOWN THERE AND GOING TO PUT ALL YOU BITCHES ON THE TRIALER!!!!!!!!!! but you can't use mine because I won't have one. True street car, 174 miles down there, two days of racing, and 174 miles back.

Just so you guys are aware, I've been having issues with my car the past week. Adam been feverishly trying to get it fixed... but as of right now, it's "iffy" at best. So if I had to speculate at the moment, I'd guess I have about a 25% chance of making it out there this weekend.

I'll provide more details when it is appropriate... but I just wanted to let you know that it doesn't look good right now.

Well, WTF. The reason I want to drive down 174 miles is to race against you and the others. So there is no way your going to be there??? That is too bad. Hopefully your car gets fixed.

Like I said, there is an "outside" chance I'll make it. But the problem with the car isn't an easy fix. I hope to hear the verdict later tonight... or tomorrow morning.

I guess this is more of a favor.. but since most of the cars going out there will be on slicks and such.. I was looking at if I can borrow from someone a jack and lug wrench once down there?? just looking save the hassle of putting that heavy ass jack in the car ans such?? Another idea.. is anyone setting up like a canopy and stuff.. maybe make a potluck type deal,, chips water soda??

When I go to the track, I always have a floor jack and impact wrench with me. We also bring a canopy as well.

Now, having said that, it's still not looking good that I'll be making it there this weekend.

That sucks about your car Don.

Now I won't be able to race since I was going to get Don's old drag tires to use, but they are still on the car at ST.s shop. If I go now it'll be to take video's and pictures. Oh and to get ice cream :laughlots:

OK... it's official. We won't be there this weekend. My car is down for the count. I'll post details in another thread in a little while.

I am bringing a jack and tools---all though I am driving down there on my bogarts. I am also bringing a 10 foot X 20 foot canopy, but its not going up if its at all windy.

As far as food and drink I was just going to bring enough for the wife and I-- and we were just going to buy the burgers/hot dogs at the track.
