I am looking to get opinions on car insurance for modifies cars. Which companies would you prefer. What modifications should be reported or ommited? What modifications effect costs the most?

Heacock is who you want to check out. Just don't tell them you have nitrous. Everything else is fair game.
I was looking at them before but their insurance requirements are difficult. You would have to have another vehicle also registered and insured year round as your daily driver. You have to stay under a mileage limit that they set. You have to have your car stored in a 100% enclosed enclosure at all times not driving it. The list goes on.
I don't think you will find any insurance company that will insure for over book value that doesn't have restrictions like that.
I was under the assumption that the OP wanted to insure for big money. Otherwise why go with specialty insurance at all?Not totally correct. Some insurance companies such as Progressive let you insure modifications by a dollar value of the Mods. I have my 05 insured for 5k in mods above the car value.

Yes I have a forged motor, supercharged, with a full tubeler BMR suspension, tons of audio and appearance mods along with a lot of carbon fiber and rims. I have invested to much to worry about an uninsured driver hitting me.

For example, my 07 was insured for $75K. Progressive won't do that.
