Speak of the devil....just went outside and noticed a package on the door step. Guess I didn't hear them knock. Mutha Thumprs have arrived.
i think theyre fine. people have to understand that when certain modifications are made things WILL change.the real question is, what are they like in rush hour traffic? thats what i need to know

Yes, West of Seattle in Port Orchard.

Yes, John does amazing work. He has tuned my 07 GT500 also.HP Ranch tune your car?
Do you ever do any highway?
excellent thread.
i was beginning to wonder about the Hot Rod cams that i have in my car with some of the stuff ive read on here....so myself and Brn N Rbr went to have my car dyno'ed this past Monday just to see exactly where my car is at....when the car was tuned after the header and Hot Rod cam install the car saw 311 rwhp and 304 tq. However the weather that day was horrible.
So we wanted a 2nd opinion....and my results are in my sig....324 rwhp and 317 tq. We even did a comparison shot of my dyno run vs his and while the numbers are almost identical down low (no drop off in low end with the cams), ~ 4,800k my car clearly pulls at the top of the tach, where his starts to flatline and then eventually lose hp.
Do you have CMDPs as well? Those are great numbers
Thats correct. No, he does not have CMDPs, under drive pullies, or throttle body.

Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum but I had the Comp Mutha thumpers put in my 2007 GT/CS about 9 months ago. The installer was up front and honest about the change in driveability he said the car would have (ie tends to buck a little at lower rpm's and in slow traffic driving) but I feel it was a small tradeoff to get that killer lopey idle that makes people look at the car as i idle through a parking lot. You can almost hear them say "That car's not supposed to sound like that" Although I thought that it should have made more power (305rwhp/308trq) it was still worth it, and from what iv'e been reading apparently i'm making about what everyone else is with basically the same bolt ons. I'm happy! It's a Pain in the nutsack... I have learn to aviod traffic like aids...
