i actually bought thier delete kit. i just didnt keep the valve :thud:, but i really don't like the long start up and at my low hp level now, i dont need it deleted. i wish there was another option other than putting the small valve back in. would be nice to have a higher flowing valve that...

i cleaned them up, didn't lube them though.

follow up: The stock electronics are transferable. I swapped both the throttle position and actuator sensors and everything works great now. Side note, the kb tb does have brass gears to drive the blade.

Lito has been working on my tune all weekend and said if the car goes right into fail safe mode that there is most likely something wrong with the throttle body. The car i got the blower off of had some issues with going into fail safe mode too, but it was intermittent.

Does anyone know if the electronics and actuator are transferable from a stock throttle body. 05-09 as soon as i plug the kb tb into my harness my car goes into fail safe mode. stock tb no codes no fail safe mode.

check your inline fuse on the power wire that runs to the engine bay. i melted 2 pistons about 18 months ago due to the fuse holder not holding the fuse securely. mine was intermittent though.

i replaced the temp sensor that goes in the pass side head. i bought the temp sensor and plug from tousely ford.

Turns out i pinched the wires when i put the kb manifold down into the "v". New plug and sensor and everything working great. Now just need a tune!
