I've done alot of searching and learned alot, but some things are unclear. I know I do not want a staggered set. I know I want to take away some fender gap with what ever sizes I choose. I am currently lowered on steeda ultralites also. I also want the tire to be flush with or just past the fender. What sizes do I want? I am looking at packages on AM. Does all American Muscle's 05-10 wheels come with the same offset/backspacing etc to make them sit the same? Will a 19x8.5 or 18x9 give the look I just mentioned? I also know I want chrome or a charcoal color (maybe AMR or Saleens). I want to do this right the first time! Thanks!

Summary: I want the largest tire size with standard (un staggered) wheels that fill up gap and are flush or just past fenders on my 06 steeda ultralite lowered GT. What Sizes?

This will not likely be your solution, but it will give you some data points to reference in your search. Both cars have SVT GT500 (read: 'Heavy') 18x9.5 wheels. They have -45mm offset and 7.125 backspacing.

Tires on the white car are 285-40; black car, 255-45; both are 'standard' diameter.

Front car is on FRPP 'P' springs, -.75 front drop, -.5 rear; rear car is on standard springs.

If you want that 'Poke' look, buy rims for an 04... They have a lower offset.

I like the way the white one looks. Thanks for the reference info!

I've contemplated that but have read mixed things. Some
People love it an others say stay away. I definitely dont want any clearance or rubbing issues at all.

Theres a thread I believe on this forum all with s197's with 99-04 offset wheels. Looks great, kind of tempting....

I think you mean +45 offset. :) More offset means the wheel will go further into the fender.

Yes it will be closer to the fender. Saleen used that offset for their front wheels. Its just inside the lip and does not hang out.
