Ok let's see.

Where to start.

First off. Almost every panel required some form of modification to fit.

I had everything loose so that I could adjust gaps and insure a better fit.

The hood required tons of little things to make worm. Hood latch from 05-09 only worked with 05-09 hood lock. Hood lock had to be drilled out to close gap and then adjusted hood latch to accommodate that.



The 2012 hood also has lower nozzles so the wiper covers where dremelled to accommodate that



I also connected the water supply to it using the T junction of 08 hood and then cut into the 12 lines

Here is where stuff got time consuming.

Bumper Fitment was dead on. I naturally used gt fender 12 brackets
I got lucky and the 08 fender bolt on holes lined up with the 12 bracket. So I used nuts and bolts to secure that.


Front12 bumper reinforcement went right into 08 crash bar they are the same part.

Lower valance is not a bolt on to the 12 bumper. What I did is see where they met and self tapped screws. It works perfect and it retains the lower rad shape on 05-09.

engine cover also lined up in holes to be secured but had to dremel trim by the hood prop mount and windshield wiper fluid pour.

The headlights. Yea they don't fit. So I had to cut out to make space. Long story short, the bottom mounting holes are the same for all years. The top mount, different story I drilled out my own holes.

While paint dried I also redid wiring.

Needless to say 12 hids don't work with the 08 harness. The turning signals and parking lights where required since the turning signals go into headlamps

I'm going to be ordering new headlights tonight. I'm thinking 10 non hids black housing. And then just use my h11 hid kit on them and everything else will be plug and play.

Tightened everything down and reattatched side skirts. Which btw don't fit correctly with 12 fenders. I knew this would happen since they guys converting to 12 sides have to trim to fit.

My idea was cut both a 05+ and a 10+ in the middle over the wheel well. And fab them together. Use the 05+ back half and the 10+ front half. That way you door line is the same and you can have the better looking front end

I ordered aftermarket projector headlights last night.

After that I'm def going for the cs and boss splitter.

I'm going to wash it and detail it some and add the fender badges
