Enjoy the ride my friend
Suhail,

Thanks and I plan on enjoying it for a long time if possible.

Jeremy,

I appreciate it and as soon as I get a few more things ironed out with it I'm sure I will enjoy it a lot.

Terry have you thought about making a deck lid inside panel cover like the 2010+ come with?

Ryan,

I'm through with it to be honest other than tires at this point in time.

Finally broke huh:)
Doug,

Well not (Broke) but still getting things ironed out with it.
So need to keep as much Cash on hand as possible until it is completely done.
And a lot of test miles is put on it by me.

I still don't have BRENSPEED completely Paid in Full yet either.

Afternoon Guys,

1st let me start this post by saying the following, I'm posting this as to what I am doing.

I'm not posting this to tell anyone else what to do or not to do.

Many people like to know what others do and I think there are a number of people that follow me and what I do with my Bullitt Mustang.

OK, with the above being said here is what I decided to do regarding tires for my 08 Bullitt Mustang as of this afternoon.

I called Joe the Mgr. of Discount Tire 15-minutes from where I live.

I explained to him what my thoughts were on the rear M/T ET Radial II tires for my use.

Then also told him what I was going to do and ask if he would simply send back the rear 2-M/T ET Radial II tires.

No problem at all and he also said he will put in his Store Stock the front 2-M/T Street Comp tires in the 245/45-20 inch size for me.

I have had even more discussions with M/T Reps. over the weeks and after talking with them have decided to wait.

To Wait on the M/T Street Comp 305/35-20 that should be available this July.

So once again I will be running all 4 Street Comp tires but this next time they will IMO enhance several aspects for me.

Those are, extra tread on ground, able to drive in bad weather, Looks Front & Rear, Low-Noise, and tons of usable miles for the set.

What brought me to this latest decision are a couple of things.
Recently last week driving from Brenspeed in Pierceton, IN. to Lufkin, TX.
Then from Lufkin, TX. back to Franklin, TN.
Oh that was like 2,000 miles and here is what conditions I drove in for like 80% of those miles.
Storms, rain and more rain, roads tore all to Hell, and I then had to put aside what I thought was going to be so, Utterly-Cool and come to realization, reality.
The M/T ET Radial II tires are not going to work for me.

The M/T ET Radial II tires I have talked about over and over are just simply not a practical choice for my overall use.

So .............

I will try my best not to bring up anymore discussions on the M/T ET Radial II tires.

I do want to Thank (Everyone) for all your many responses over time regarding them.

Until July I will simply run the M/T Street Comp tires I have right now.

I don't really like the look of the now M/T Street Comp on the rear in the 275/35-20 size.

IMO, they are to small for the 10.5" rear SC-5 M/T wheels.

As I had said before I went with the largest size M/T had for the rear thinking they would come with larger sizes later as they are doing.

I really think I will be very well pleased when I can switch to the 305/35-20 Street Comp for the rear SC-5 10.5" wheels.

For those of you that are interested I do have the Specs for those 305/35-20 tires.

M/T Street Comp Tires (Section-Width is 11.8") on the 10.5" SC-5 M/T wheels.

The (Diameter is 28.43") on the M/T SC-5 10.5" wheels.

The (Tread Width is 10.6") on the M/T SC-5 10.5" wheels.

The above is per M/T Reps. I spoke with last week.

Thanks for the info and congrats on getting to drive the car again.

Your welcome and in some cases I know there were others here on S-197 that are interested in the New M/T Street Comp 305/35-20" tires.

They are now in the M/T 2014 Catalog for this year.

I have talked with Reps. at M/T many times and there latest info. is those tires are suppose to be out this July.

I was really wanting to try the M/T ET Radial II tires.
But after driving through all the crap I did for over 2K miles it was obvious those tires won't work for me.

305/35/20 sounds tasty! I wish I could squeeze them on my 9.5" wheels, stupid Roush should have offered staggered 20x9.5 & 20x10.5
