Before anyone says to do a search I searched for about 3 hours and didn't find any pics of the specific tire size mounted on a 10-14 year body style...

I'm currently in the market for some new wheels and would like to get an idea of tire sizes to go with. I'm a little scared that the 295/35/18 tire out back might be a little to short... So basically if you can post a pic of your car with 295/35/18 size tires out back it would be great! :thumb2:
Thanks

Going to still be about the same size difference. You'd be looking at about a half inch difference in the sidewall. Why not go with a 295/40? That would put you right on the mark.

I'd love to get the 295/40 but can't find many options in that size...

Well, the american muscle packages on a 18x10 are 275/40-18, which puts you a little undersized compared to stock (but not much). A 285/40 will put you right at stock height by .1 inch. 295/40 will be a near exact match for height with your current tire. True though, not a lot of options for that size but I think I'd stay away from the 35 and go with the 285/40. One thing to remember, and I deal with this on my car, depending on your drop and offset you might hit the wheelwell if the tire itself is too wide. I have 285/35-19's with the SVE Drifts and if my drop were any lower than 1.5 inches I'd be hitting the edge of the wheelwell (and will probably switch over to 275/40's when I switch tires next time).

Nooooo! Please don't tell me that! Man I'm on coilovers and wanted to go lower in the rear after I got some new wheels and tires I guess I will have to play with it a little so you think with a 285/40/18 I'm gonna rub with say a 2 inch drop?

What offset are your wheels? do they poke out a bit? are they the proper offset for your year?I've got a 13 gt

It's all going to depend on your rim offset. Mine are +35mm. A 285/40-18 is almost exactly the same size as my 285/35-19. If you have the same offset or smaller? than you are going to run into problems. Now, I've got a 2006 and I'm not 100% positive on this but it's possible the fenders might stick out just a fraction more (like 1/4 inch) but I can't say for certain.

You're fine. i used to run 305/35/20's with a 2 in drop.

not exactly the same, but i have a square 295/25/20 setup on my car. It's pretty much the same overall diameter.

Here's a little different angle of when my old car had 295/35/18's

That actually isn't as bad as I thought.... What I'm scared of I'd that It will look like a very small setup... Is the car lowered? If so what drop are u running?
