Highest octane is 95RON (about 91AKI) that costs 0.097Bs/lt.

Let's say a 60lt/16gal tank, that is less than 6Bs.

At the official lowest exchange rate of 6.30BSF/USD, is less than 1$ a tank.

At the official medium exchange rate of 12BSF/USD, is about 0.50$ a tank.

At the official highest exchange rate of 200BSF/USD, is about 0.03$ a tank.

With the unofficial black market exchange rate of 800BSF/USD, is about 0.007$ a tank.

You missed part of the story, there won't be freely available eggs, now if you want eggs you have two options, or either make a lane the day of the week that your are allowed to by the government (I can do that thrusday or sunday, it goes by the last number of your ID number) and IF (BIG IF here) the merchant received eggs, you can get the amount of eggs the government dictates you can buy, option 2 is look for some people that sell black market eggs.

So 30 eggs costed 1200Bs before all this, they slashed the price to about a thrid of that, 420Bs for the now nonexistant eggs. But on the black market it would probably go for 2500Bs now.

That is extreme socialism for you.

Oh I caught it! Cheap eggs with no availability. You're probably rushing to read this before they cut down the mobile rates and there aren't any cell phones anymore. Actually, that's one thing that is probably reasonable.

We have socialism lite here. Things like medical care are brutally expensive because the gov't pays for it. Other stuff is inexpensive. Car parts, somewhere in the middle. I don't know if you feel lucky that you can play with cars or not, I think of how I'd be sitting on piles of cash if I just walked everywhere, hahahaha.

Purchasing power looks to be roughly equal, if you were paid in US dollars. Unfortunately, you are not! I'm sure wages are lagging wayyyyyy behind inflation. Same thing here, we're just at the start of the curve.

My daughter lives 150 miles north of me..near some commercial farms. She buys hen's for aprx $6- $7 each. Feed is cheap, and she gets aprx 5-8 eggs every morning. Grandkids pick the eggs each morning.

I was up there one week, and we drive into this farm, they tossed 4 of em into the very back section of her minivan..and we head home... 5 mins away.

Well, I know of a couple of friends that are not friends anymore. It wasn't his fault but was his responsibility.



Is not the local oil, local oil is cheap, motorcraft is imported so it is very expensive, is you wanted 5-20W is the only way. And the problem is not the oil being expensive, is the wages being ridiculous.

At black market exchange, local monthly minimum wage (which is what a huge part of the population earns BTW) is under 20USD.
