Big thanks to the RodeHeavers crew (http://www.rodeheavers.com) for putting my headers on my car today. Definitely made the quiet gt500s a little louder haha. They did a great job and the install was fairly cheap at $350. The headers fitment was perfect with no rubbing or being too close to anything.

Here is a crappy picture i snagged real quick haha:

Here is a quick vid i took on the way home:

I'm glad i snagged these up haha. I have some hushpower mufflers lined up to replace the gt500 mufflers as they are a restriction at this point. I also got my new lund tune in and its supposed to be what i'm looking for so i'm excited for a nice day to try it out and get some logs.

Well with the headers and a tune not as conservative as my last one i put down 590/461. Not too shabby!

Ya it was 597 but that was the first pull. He did a dig pull on the dyno which was pretty interesting as well i didn't get it on video though. It was ripping. This lund tune came together nice!

haha not exactly. That was on a different dyno. The last time i was on this dyno it read 508 hp but with 4 degrees more timing and headers i put down the 597.

So you gained ~90hp on this dyno with the addition of timing and headers?

I'm lost? LOL!!!!!! I want headers but trying to justify the cost. Thx!(and I realize your car is blown)

boost. You're not going to gain anywhere near 90hp with headers on a NA motor.

Mack's previous tune was very very safe, it was in the mid 10s A/F ratio and had little to no timing in the motor.

His new tune addressed those issues, plus the addition of headers.

Small Update!

I just ordered a few things for the stang and did a few changes!

Big Thanks to Seer for hooking me up on a good price for my oil change!

After the header install i didn't drive the car very much since it was winter. It stalled twice on me switching into reverse on the way home from the header install but i didn't think anything of it. Now i'm driving it a lot again and its doing it often so I sent some logs to lund so hopefully he will figure it out.

Well i decided to get the car checked over since i figured it might of been something on my end.

First Check spark plugs:
Scared me because a few had some melted aluminum on them. So after seeing that we decided to check everything out to make sure there wasn't any problems. So i just orded some new frpp 1 step colder plugs to replace these.

Compression tested and to my suprise my #8 was 170! All the others were above 160.

Checked for vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, etc and everything was good.
Just waiting to hear back from lund to see if he can fix it the random stalls.

Also i played around with some plasti dip!

Didn't turn out bad in my opinion:
