Haha, true. I want it to sound like my old car to be honest (LT's, hi-flow cats, Magnaflows). That was perfect. I just don't want to drop $650 on some Magnaflows now though. Maybe I'll get lucky in the classifieds.

Almost guarentee'd! Glad your still in Mustang land!

A couple of minor things I've gotten done in the past couple of weeks:

Redline hood struts:

Removed the sticker off the trunk lid. Much cleaner look IMO.

Ordered this sound tube delete kit from Schrader Performance. Can't really tell a difference in the sound, but the engine bay is a lot cleaner without that giant tube in there.

I ended up having to re-do the louvers and jacked one of them up pretty good trying to strip the paint off. Got another set on the way. Still on the fence about painting them myself at this point b/c I want some other stuff painted too.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been on travel for work, but there are good times ahead.

Need some help with a future mod and didn't want to start another thread. Came up with some custom badge ideas and wanted to get some opinions.

Ok guys, i haven't forgotten about the car. Been a little busy with Fantasy Football, work and school. Picked up chutoyy's carbon fiber hood today. He was nice enough to bring it all the way to my house after it wouldn't fit in my SUV. Thanks a lot man!

This actually ended up being my Christmas gift from my girlfriend. I'm going to talk to someone about paint later this week, but I absolutely love this hood.

Got some other stuff in the works, but I just need to make some final decisions on some things before moving forward.

Thoughts & opinions are welcome!

Im going to compliment you, even though your hating on ND lol. I love that hood, it looks awesome. Id paint it white with a black accent in front of the scoop.

Haha, thanks. I'm a Michigan fan; just can't get on board with ND, but definitely respect their season and what they've done to this point.

I honestly don't have the cash to get it painted and would prefer to wrap it, but the sample that I got doesn't really match Performance White. It's just slightly off, but would be a good in-between until I'm able to afford the paint. I'm wanting to wrap the sides and leave the scoop as carbon fiber. I'm going to try another sample soon, see what I get from that and go from there.

I think the hood is sweet! Awesome gift..lol

Thanks. I saw it, told her about it and she transferred the cash 5 minutes later, no questions asked.

That's an awesome GF!

I imagine it drops the weight over the front end by about 15-20 pounds too. Not too shabby.

I don't know the actual weight difference, but the stock hood was shockingly light. I had a buddy help me with it and it wasn't much heavier than the CF one. The 15-20lbs may be there, but it felt like a 5-6lb difference.

Yeah, the stock ones are about as thin as a piece of paper:)

I've considered that too. Just not sure how the CF and black would look. I don't want it to look like I just threw it together.

Added the following stuff in the past couple weeks:

MSR 093 wheels (20")
Nitto Invo tires (255/35 & 295/35)
Sportlines
SVTPP shocks & struts
Steeda HD camber plates
Shorty Antenna
GT500 mufflers & tips (have actually had these for quite some time, lol)

Took some pics tonight.

I painted the mufflers black so that it wouldn't be as noticeable from under the car. I'll try to get a pic of that another day. Kinda wish the tips didn't say PYPES in giant letters, but whatever. You can't really see it when they are on the car anyway.

Thing that sucks is that the tires rub a bit depending on where I drive. Dips on the freeway and shitty roads are not my friend, but I'll live with it for now.

Still working on the plans for the hood and custom emblems. There will definitely be some vinyl wrap and carbon fiber in the near future; I just need time (and money) to get the ball rolling on it.

Added the '13 taillights. I don't really think anyone would notice the gap unless they knew it was there and it's really not that bad IMO.

Got some vinyl that needs to go on, but I have to get this thing cleaned up this weekend before putting it on.

Go rent a 13 white V6 and swap your bumper and taillights for the bumper ... Problem solved
