cool video on the home page of that link. I kind of like that car...hope something similar makes it to the states. Personally, having kids a 4 door mustang with a supercharged engine making 500hp stock would be awesome...as long as they keep the price around mid 30s. I think there is a market that Ford could appeal to...30mpg highway, around 3200lbs, at least 450hp, handling as good as the current gt500.

I would have expected a lot more from a blown 5.0. The 2012 BOSS will be 440HP naturally aspirated.

There is a big difference between peak horsepower and a broad flat torque curve. The torque curve on the blown motor is ridiculous. Prolly run high elevens stock...depending on gearing and traction.

I get ya. However I was looking at the Roush M90 for my 2010 and they claim 435HP 400FT-LB on a 4.6L that started life at 315HP. The 5.0L starts at 412HP plus blower I would have expected at least 500-525HP.

Probably has something to do with emissions or some other bullshit laws over there...or they have it tuned down on purpose. Could probably easily get it up another 100 foot pounds. Not sure what octane they have over there either. I bet you will be able to beat the piss out of it too and never have to worry about breaking it.
