Dropped car off at Kesatie Motorsports today in Sarasota, for him to get started on the engine build.

FRPP Race Block
Mahle Pistons (11.0:1 CR)
Manley H-Beams w/ ARP 2000
Stock Heads/Cams
Stock Crank, modded/Pinned by Matt Kesatie

Once the rings are seated, she's getting MOAR BOOST

Damn Kelly, that was pretty uneventful for a 10 flat. Like walkin the dog. Sweet. Is that on the stock converter?

Yup, stock converter. ;)

Peak power just over 7,500RPM... Fuck!!!

Crazy huh? These 15's are something special.....thats for damn sure.

Any updates? You mentioned earlier that there were media outlets covering it. Did I miss the results or any articles? Can you post links if so?

Be careful... might not be allowed to call this a '15 anymore after all that engine work... ;-)

Any updates?

Car is running strong. Made some 1/8 attempts over the weekend, but the track was not having it. It was a "street heat" event....so I didn't expect much.

I will be updating the thread soon.

I made sure to keep all of the 2015 Heads, Cams and Timing Components.

It's definitely not a stock 2015 Mustang engine though!

Oh, I forgot to mention - I went with a new 2015 block - not the FRPP Block.

I really don't understand this "gotta be stock" thing. Not unless it's some sort of class racing.

Does it have stock lug nuts? If not, can't claim 2015 records.
If I put 15' lug nuts on my 07' can I go for the 15 record? I just can't figure these rules out.:iranmaybe:

Our 15' has the stock trans, stock ECU, stock IRS and the only car with a stock Ford blower. I think that makes ours the fastest "real" S550.:naughty1:

Debating, not arguing.

Next year when the Cobra Jets become available they will have solid axles, who knows what trans (won't be a A6), non stock ECU and will share almost no parts with a stock motor. Does that mean they aren't S550's?

Hahaha. You guys crack me up.

Just got done doing some logging for Ken@Lund, at my local "test spot"

That guy is amazing at what he does.

Small steps, making sure everything is as close to perfect as possible. It's about to become bigger steps though.
