I installed mine with 3M two sided tape. I'd definitely try to avoid drilling holes in your car if at all possible. The 3m tape is no joke. 'Dem scoops feel like the were cemented on!

there are no holes needed, as said, they are attached with 3M tape, when I removed mine, which came as part of the "appearance package" they were attached with the 3M tape only

Same here. Mine are attached with 3M tape.

Make sure you clean the surface first and remove any wax. Then, just expose a tiny bit of the 3M tape on the corners and leave a tab of the red peel-away strip sticking out to allow you to line things up properly. Once lined up, remove the remainder of the red strip and press. That sucker won't come off!

Don't drill holes, just use a BFH and hammer some nails into the body. One in each corner of the scoop should do the trick.

Well I found the original instructions and it sez to drill two holes and insert some specisl grommets that the scoops come with for the plastic studs

For the side scoops or the hood scoop? No way I would drill my quarter panel.
