Thanks homies!
So if my math is correct...

Getting a 1.642 60' over the 1.682 60' (0.04 difference) got me from 12.050 to 11.991 (0.059 difference)
So if I got the 60 down to let's say 1.602 (1.642 minus 0.04) then my ET would theoretically be 11.872.

Just trying to see how much more is left in it, I think it's all on the 60' now.
Can't imagine getting any better than 1.60x ever ever.

Good job Frankie!
Looking at the mile an hour gains in the back half, the 12.04 run was slower on the uptake. Just upping the launch rpm was the big change?

Yea I guess so, it's an odd slip because the 12.050 slip looks like it should have been faster than the 12.040 slip if you go by the numbers.

This also makes me want bigs and littles. Higher trap, more gain in the back half, and I'm still a quarter of a second down because I can't launch that hard on my heavy 20" street tires.

launch it higher - it'll hold! I'm at 6500 now, and I want to have my limiter bumped to 6800 so I can try launching higher.

bear in mind I don't have long tubes, cmdp's, cams, etc. so I need all the help I can get.

and I think you have a 1.59 60' in the car.

My ass was puckered at 6250 when I let the clutch go, I have to grow some more balls to hit it at 6500 but will do!!
I lost 0.04 on the 60 from a 6k launch to 6250, so maybe 6500 (another 250rpm) will get me to 1.60x.

Congrats man! I know you've been waiting for that 11 sec slip for a while now.

Make sure your AAA is paid up when you go to the track to do this:omfg::omfg:

Frank, I got my 11.89 with MT ETs at 15 lbs, adjustable shocks set to 7 (out of 12), no front swaybar, rear seat out and spare out, and dumped the clutch at 6500, shifting at the same point. 4.30 gears. AND, that was with a bad 3650 5sp trans. Still got 1.4-1.5 60fts like clockwork.

I've since got a rebuilt (and strengthened) 3650 with 26 spline input shaft, and new RAM Powergrip HD clutch. Haven't been to the track lately but looks like I shit chasing my tail, so I need to get this spring and get another tenth or two knocked off.

Congrats on a very nice time!

Damn that's nutty 60's! I can only hope lol i will try a 6500 dump next time out and see how that goes.
I can't go lower than 17 psi on my tires with my setup or it smashes the tires and bounces the rim off the ground on launch.

I was dead hooking at 6k though so the 18psi is working for me, I was actually trying to dial out some grip so my car doesn't bog, that's when I loosened the rear shocks and struts one click and went up to 6250 on the launch and got that 1.64

Still stock clutch? What rpm are you shifting at? My car is set up similar but my suspension isn't as nice. If I can squeak out 12.30's I'd be happy. Just picked up a set of 15X8 race stars with 26X11.5X15 Hoosier QTP's.

Yes I am on my second stock clutch, this one is two years old.
I read so many conflicting things on clutches for my power level.
Mainly that the clutch would be "too much" for the power level and bog the shit out of it and that the stock clutch has the right amount of slip.

I shift at 6800 rpm 1-2 and 2-3, 3-4 I shift at 6500 or less.

Sorry that I am late to this party but great job, Frankie. Have you made room for the next trophy?
