Does anybody have tips for plastidipping the pony emblem on the grille? It seems like it would be difficult to get the excess plastic pulled off because of the grooves around the emblem that lead to the backing.

Newspaper and tape work miracles.

Just use small pieces of tape, news paper and a slight bit of patience.
Not that hard at all.

Newspaper and tape as stated. It took me about 45 minutes to do mine, except I used paint not plastidip.

i had plasti dip stripes on my car for about 6 months. lasted great till i got a new hood. best part is if you dont like it, you can take them off or if you mess up you can take it off and go at it again.

Did mine today and the side emblems.. turned out really good.
