How should you keep rod ends lubed? WD40? Lol

MOST of the rod ends on the market today are teflon-bushed, and require no lubrication. That said, I do use WD40 periodically on them. Not as a lube per-se, but to put a moisture barrier up and to flush out any contaminants.

I spray my rod ends with Super Lube Multi Purpose Synthetic Lubircant with Syncolon (PTFE). If my memory is correct this idea came from the UMI Performance web site.

This is just to preserve the appearance as they are teflon bushed.
